Private Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Private Caregivers and Sitters to provide personalized in-home and community-based care for clients with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will support individuals with disabilities, seniors, or those recovering from illness by delivering high-quality, respectful, and attentive care. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and document patient observations, vital signs, and overall health status
• Administer medications and manage care plans in accordance with healthcare protocols and HIPAA regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia through specialized techniques
• Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care in assisted living, nursing homes, or home settings
• Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures to ensure client safety at all times

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing home, or long-term care environments preferred
• Knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs assessment
• Experience working in elderly care, or memory impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia care is highly desirable
• Certifications in CPR and first aid are preferred; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
