Building Maintenance Manager

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of 2-3 member team
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Work and supervise the work of vendors and contractors for repairs and service
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Train and mentor maintenance staff

Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Some experience with low voltage systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
- Proven experience in maintenance management and project management
- Ability to fabricate parts and perform welding tasks is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Perform routine maintenance around the hotel and in guest rooms. Must be able to walk and inspect building for any updates needed repairs or damages.
- Must have knowledge of swimming pool daily inspections (chemical balances) be able to clean swimming pool and change vents in Dectron room.
- Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
- Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
- Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly. Example- must be able to change vents and maintain- clean coils.
- Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof, check guest rooms for leaks, paint touch ups etc
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries, walking the floors for any repair needs on doors, light fixtures, carpets etc
- Must have knowledge on how to repair garbage disposals, dish washers, refrigerators, and shower fixtures.
- Keep grounds clean, clear of debris and any safety violations.
- Must have great communication skills and work close with our housekeeping department.
- Job requires multitasking and proactive processes
