Physical Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, hospital, home health, and community care. This role involves developing personalized care plans, performing physiotherapy interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, with experience in diverse clinical environments such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care. Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals.
• Implement physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy, orthopedics interventions, and other modalities to promote recovery.
• Manage discharge planning and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions across settings.
• Provide therapy for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and acute care patients in inpatient, outpatient, hospital, or home health environments.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility strategies, and injury prevention techniques.
• Document patient progress accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience

• Proven experience in physiotherapy within hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.
• Strong background in discharge planning, care plan development, and patient education.
• Hands-on experience with acute care procedures, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and community-based care is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and the use of EMR systems for documentation.
• Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient therapy protocols as well as home & community care practices.
• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations including those requiring trigger point therapy or specialized orthopedic treatments is preferred. Pay: $ $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21.0 – 35.0 per week
