Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a positive first impression.
• Take accurate beverage orders using POS systems SpotOn, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by clearing tables, cleaning your section at the end of the night.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely delivery of drinks and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
• Promote guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a memorable visit.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Strong culinary experience or knowledge of food handling, preparation, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability in sales techniques including upselling and suggestive selling strategies.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and transaction processing.
• Previous restaurant experience including serving, bussing, or host/host roles is preferred.
