Construction Estimator

This is a Hybrid position in Myrtle Beach, SC. Qualified candidates may work from home but must be willing/able to attend Monthly in-office meetings in Savannah, GA.

Premier Exteriors is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator who is experienced with Stucco / Exterior Cladding. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with Exterior Cladding.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze construction drawings and specifications to accurately estimate costs
• Review project plans and proposals to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify potential project risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
• Develop detailed project budgets and cost estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms
• Prepare accurate and timely bid proposals for clients
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and accurately estimate costs
• Maintain project cost data and continuously update estimates throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Proficiency in construction cost estimating and project management software
• Bid projects and take them to the contract award phase
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Proficiency with Excel
• Knowledge of general construction
• Experience with siding, stucco & exterior cladding preferred
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements

Salary and Benefits:

• Full-time
• Salary $75,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience
