Job Description

Glynn & Sons Electric is a small, owner-operated electrical contracting company based in Raymond, NH. We're looking for a 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to work, and wants to continue developing their skills toward journeyman licensure.

This role is ideal for an apprentice who already has solid fundamentals and wants real hands-on experience across service work, remodels, and new construction—not just pulling wire all day.

Responsibilities

Assist with and perform electrical installations and repairs under supervision

Rough and finish wiring for residential and light commercial projects

Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist on service calls

Install panels, subpanels, generators, EV chargers, lighting, and heat pump wiring

Read and interpret basic plans and diagrams

Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites

Follow NEC, state, and local electrical codes

Communicate job progress and material needs clearly

Qualifications

3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice (or equivalent experience)

Enrolled in or completed required apprenticeship schooling

Working knowledge of the NEC and job-site safety practices

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, basements, and outdoor conditions

Professional attitude and customer-friendly communication

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Residential service work

Panel or service upgrades

Generator, EV charger, or heat pump wiring
