Role Description
This is a full-time position, for a MRI Technologist, based in St. Pete Beach, FL. The MRI Technologist will operate new technologically advanced MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images and perform patient care responsibilities including preparing pediatric patients for scanning procedures and ensuring their safety. Additional tasks include collaborating with radiologists, anesthesiologists and others medical professionals, maintaining high standards of imaging quality, performing advanced imaging protocols, adhering to strict safety guidelines, and managing patient records and imaging documentation.
Qualifications
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and expertise in Radiologic Technology
- Knowledge and skills in Radiology, Medical Imaging, and Medicine as they pertain to MRI technology
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients and families
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Experience in pediatric imaging is a strong advantage
