Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, including product demos and recommendations
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation and easy product access
• Conduct stocking activities to replenish inventory on the sales floor and in storage areas
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering assistance, and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting via phone or in person
• Support store operations through basic retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management

Experience

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and grocery store operations is advantageous
• Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear speaking abilities, are essential for engaging with customers and team members
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, pricing adjustments, and inventory counts
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demonstrations will help you excel in this role
