Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Provides technical expertise in the development and implementation of technology solutions including; platforms, operating systems, and infrastructure tools across the enterprise. Responsible for designing and implementing scalable Cloud solutions across the enterprise that are focused on configuration management, platform automation and container solutions. Develops and implements standards in order to provide an enterprise level of support. Serves as a technical expert to junior level engineers. Partners with infrastructure teams to provide the business with the best possible solutions. Keeps up to date on technology trends. This is a mid-level to senior-level position that will report to the Director of Cloud Engineering.

The Work Itself
  • Implements cloud technology solutions requested by business units.
  • Engineers technology solutions supporting application environments.
  • Documents and publish standards for infrastructure technology.
  • Establishes patterns and new design standards for infrastructure teams.
  • Reviews metrics for quality control.
  • Provides technical expertise and advice to programmers and other departments.
  • Provides setup and support for Disaster Recovery environment.
  • Creates and manages scripts for Unix/Linux management.
The Skills You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or other relevant field of study preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Highly proficient with engineering solutions focused on Cloud offerings.
  • Familiarity with Container platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps, Process Architecture and Source Code tools.
  • In depth technical knowledge.
  • AWS and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) experience highly preferred.
