We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of meal preparation and food safety practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and that our guests enjoy delicious, high-quality meals. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu description.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, which requires multitasking.
• Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, ovens, grills, and other cooking tools.
• Assist with putting away orders from distributors, and properly rotate stock in refrigerators and freezers.
• Thoroughly "open" and "close" kitchen - prepare/heat daily soups, sauces and gravy, as well as, properly cool and put away any left over, clean and sanitize work areas, thoroughly clean flat-top grill to our standards.

Qualifications

• Short Order Cook experience preferred.
• Proven experience in meal preparation within the food industry.
• Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices for food safety.
• Strong culinary skills with the ability to use knives and other kitchen tools effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn new techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training is an advantage.
