Landscape Foreman

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our outdoor maintenance and landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticulture, along with proven supervisory experience. This role involves overseeing daily operations on job sites, managing a team of landscape workers, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The Landscape Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and health of our clients' outdoor spaces through expert supervision and hands-on involvement in landscaping, tree care, irrigation, and general maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance projects, including lawn care, gardening, and horticulture tasks
• Oversee installation and construction of landscape features such as patios, retaining walls, and plantings
• Manage irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water efficiency
• Lead a team of landscapers and laborers, providing guidance on safety protocols, task execution, and quality standards
• Perform or oversee pruning, trimming, planting, fertilizing, and pest control activities for trees and plants
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain equipment and tools used in landscaping operations
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping construction, or related outdoor projects
• Supervising or leadership experience in a landscaping or horticultural setting is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, tree care techniques, irrigation systems, gardening, and general horticulture principles
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Knowledge of safety standards related to outdoor construction and landscape work is essential
