Sole Heir Society is seeking a reliable and organized 
Administrative & Event Coordinator
 to support operations and assist with the planning and execution of community-centered events. This part-time, hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, coordination, and gaining hands-on experience in events, operations, and creative community building.

This role combines remote administrative work with in-person support during scheduled events and select meetings in NYC/NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, email coordination, and task organization
  • Assist with event planning, logistics, and on-site coordination
  • Communicate with venues, vendors, and partners as needed
  • Maintain organized files, documents, and trackers across internal systems
  • Support content and asset organization in collaboration with the Creative Director
  • Assist with research, planning, and preparation for upcoming events and programming

Tools & Systems Used

  • Google Drive
  • Notion
  • Mailchimp
  • Squarespace

(Familiarity with these tools is a plus; training will be provided as needed.)

Work Schedule & Model

  • Approximately 
    6–10 hours per week
    , depending on programming needs
  • Hybrid structure:
  • Remote work for administrative and coordination tasks
  • In-person support required for events and select meetings
  • Occasional evenings or weekends for events
  • Transportation to and from events may be compensated when applicable

Compensation & Benefits

  • $21.50/hour

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Interest in events, community building, or creative operations
  • Ability to commute to NYC/NJ for in-person events
