Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Repair or replace faulty components through welding, electrical work, or mechanical adjustments to ensure continuous operation.
• Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and troubleshoot automation systems effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC repairs, painting (including residential painting), and general upkeep.
• Supervise or lead maintenance team members during shift operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed and tasks are completed efficiently.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams to facilitate repairs and installations.
• Support manufacturing processes by ensuring equipment is operating at peak performance levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems, schematics, PLC programming, and troubleshooting automation controls.
• Skilled in welding techniques and familiar with residential painting practices is a plus.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
• Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
• Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
• Supervising or leadership experience is desirable to coordinate team efforts during shifts.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.
