PAY RANGE: $ $20 per hour (Depending on years of experience)

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.

Work Schedule:
THU, FRI, SAT 1PM-11PM
A Day in the Life:

You'll spend your days assisting with care to a group of people who enjoy:

• Relaxing at home
• Watching TV
• Participate 2xs a month in the community

This group is looking for someone who is kind, dependable, a good communicator, and most of all—someone who enjoys spending time with them. If you're someone who takes joy in building real connections and being present in the moment, you'll thrive here.

How You'll Support:

• Provide full support with daily routines such as total hygiene care, cooking, cleaning laundry housekeeping, transporting to and from day programs Drs. Appointments and medication administration etc.
• Help promote independence
• Be patient and respectful in action and speaking
• Advocate for each person's rights and help build their confidence and sense of self
• Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points
• Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
