Desktop Support Technician

• Support hardware and software for internal end users
• Setup new computers, tablets, and mobile devices via imaging or manual method
• Troubleshoot printers and other peripherals
• Work with a corporate ticketing system for issue resolution and escalation
• Provide hardware and software support to all Long Island locations and remote associates
• Develop, configure, and deploy enterprise desktop and laptop images
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows 11, Apple macOS, Microsoft Office, and other authorized applications
• Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, printers, and other authorized peripheral equipment
• Work on special projects as required
• Additional duties as assigned

• A minimum of 2-3 years prior work experience (college education may be substituted if applicable)
• Understanding of Active Directory, Azure (Entra), and O365
• Ability to determine what is a client or server issue and follow proper escalation steps
• Self-motivated with the ability to work quickly and independently with minimal supervision
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Key emphasis on customer service skills, proper phone and email etiquette
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to ask for help when necessary
• Positive and proactive attitude
• The ability to move equipment that weighs up to 50 lbs. is required as well as the ability to bend/kneel frequently while working with equipment
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Qualifying experience will also be considered
