Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant - Long Term Care (LTC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility. The PTA will be responsible for working with patients to help improve their physical function and mobility through therapy treatments and exercises.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for patients in LTC
• Provide hands-on therapy treatments and exercises to help patients improve mobility and function
• Monitor and assess patient progress to adjust treatment plans as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA license in the state of practice
• Previous experience working in LTC or geriatric care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• CPR certification
