Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Provide attentive customer service by checking on guests regularly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, manage cash handling procedures, and process payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food handling standards and safety protocols.
• Assist with food service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere while managing multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with retail math, restaurant math, or basic math calculations is essential.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
• Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations.
• Experience with catering or banquet service is advantageous; retail math skills are beneficial for cash handling tasks.
