We're on the lookout for an upbeat, compassionate, and reliable Direct Support Professional to join our Gracefully Aging & Life Skills Day Program — a vibrant, caring space where every day is a chance to uplift others and celebrate milestones both big and small.
What You'll Do:
- Support individuals as they grow in independence, confidence, and daily living skills
- Foster well-being and autonomy by empowering individuals to make choices and take charge of their own lives
- Build meaningful relationships through warm, positive interaction and role modeling
- Plan engaging community activities and help coordinate transportation
- Support people in reaching their goals through structured programming, observation, and teaching
- Promote health and safety while assisting with medication protocols and therapeutic interventions
- Keep clear records and collaborate in team meetings
What You Bring to the Team:
- A kind heart, good energy, and a genuine desire to support people with disabilities
- High school diploma preferred
- DD Certification a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in the human services field is preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and assist with transitioning or transferring
- Valid ND driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to grow through training, learning, and being a team player
