Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in underground utility construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing medium to large-scale utility projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.

This role will be based in the Gwinnett County, Georgia area, with travel to nearby job sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of underground utility projects—from planning to closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Enforce safety regulations and company standards on all job sites.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and implement necessary changes.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and clear direction to project teams.
• Prepare and present progress reports, updates, and project performance metrics to management and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in underground utility construction, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Proven experience overseeing large-scale telecom, power, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, construction safety practices, and utility regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed construction plans and technical documents.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites within the region.
