Front Desk High Rise Security Officer
We are looking for some smart and ambitious security professionals who have goals of moving into a leadership role with our quickly growing security company. Only hard workers with high morals and big dreams should apply.

Starting Location:

Tenderloin District, San Francisco, CA 94107

Current Available Schedules

Part Time Shift: Wednesdays & Thursdays (16 Hours/Week)

Starting Pay: $ $1.00/hour (uniform maintenance) = $27.00/hr

Vacation Time: 24 hours the 1st year (based on working 40 hours/week) then an additional 8 hours added every year thereafter (2nd year 32 hrs, 3rd year 40 hrs, 4th year 48 hrs, etc.)

Annual Bonus: We pay $100 for the 1st year anniversary and an additional $100 for every year thereafter. (2nd year $200, 3rd year $300, etc)

Benefits: We pay 50% of the total cost of all levels of health insurance (bronze, gold, & Platinum)
Cell Phone Allowance: We pay $10/week for full time and $5/week for part time

Start Date: Next 2-4 weeks

Job Description:

This is a high rise condominium and the position is for the front desk security role. Most of your time will be spent at the front desk receiving packages, answering the phones and watching the security cameras. However, occasional patrols of the exterior are required. Food orders will arrive, but the residents will come down and pick them up. You may get a noise complaint to investigate. Any homeless people who try to sleep next to the building will just need to have non emergency Police called on them.

Uniform is a blue suit, white button shirt and black dress shoes, which are provided by SGT.

Job Duties Including But Not Limited To:

• Lift packages up to 50 pounds.
• Receive, sort and distribute packages to residents.
• Answer phones and assist callers.
• Receive food orders from Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc.
• Check in vendors and distribute equipment.
• Monitor security cameras.
• Work at other post sites when officers are late or call off. May need to drive SGT security vehicle at these other locations.
• Respond to service calls for noise complaints or parking violations.
• Walk around the property checking areas of interest from Client.
• Conduct patrol tours of using a checkpoint scanning system with smartphone.
• Identify potential security risks and report them.
• Complete hourly activity reports and incident reports using a smartphone.
• Respond to emergencies or incidents and report them.
• Assist employees and visitors with any questions or concerns they may have.
• Train new team members on policies and procedures.
• Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Must be hardworking.
• Must be honest at all times.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Previous security-related work experience.
• Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills in English.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for. extended periods of time
• Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed.
• Working knowledge of basic security techniques.
