Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive technical assistance and support to our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless computer operations across various platforms. This role requires excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and a strong understanding of computer systems and networks to support our team effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization
  • Manage and troubleshoot computer systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
  • Assist users with desktop support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers and peripherals
  • Support computer networking tasks such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewall management, and network troubleshooting
  • Utilize IT service management tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to document incidents and track resolutions
  • Maintain and manage IT infrastructure components to ensure system security and optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office applications and other enterprise software
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs for computers and related devices
  • Assist with the setup and management of security protocols including firewalls and VPNs
  • Provide help desk support by resolving user inquiries promptly while delivering excellent customer service

Skills

  • Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles
  • Strong knowledge of computer management, hardware components, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Familiarity with network concepts such as LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and other common enterprise applications
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware failures or malfunctions effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure management including servers and network devices is a plus
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $61, $81,455.88 per year
