Title:
Business Developer - MSP

We are seeking an experienced
Business Developer
to lead growth initiatives within the
Managed Service Provider (MSP)
and Non-MSP accounts. This role focuses on building and expanding strategic relationships with Direct customers and MSP partners.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the MSP and contingent workforce landscape, with proven success driving revenue growth through partnership development, program engagement, and client expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute
    a comprehensive business development strategy targeting MSP partnerships and enterprise client programs.

  • Proactively generate leads and close high-value deals to sustain consistent business growth.

  • Develop
    new business opportunities
    to fuel organizational growth.
  • Identify, research, and prioritize strategic target accounts, understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Identify and engage
    key decision-makers within MSPs and their end-client programs to position the company as a preferred or tier-1 supplier.

  • Responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from proactive outreach (calls, emails, networking) and scheduling appointments, through to final MSA signature.

  • Partner with the marketing team to create impactful presentations and sales materials.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
    with Client Partners and executive teams to ensure successful onboarding, performance, and scalability across programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular sales updates and performance reports to executive management.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements
    and participate in RFI/RFP processes to expand partnerships with new and existing MSPs.
  • Monitor program performance
    and provide insights on market trends, rate competitiveness, and program satisfaction.
  • Represent the company
    at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities within the MSP and staffing ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    5+ years
    of experience in business development and sales within the staffing/MSP/vendor management space.
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing relationships with leading MSPs such as Allegis, Magnit, KellyOCG, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of
    contingent labor models
    ,
    VMS technology (e.g., Beeline, Fieldglass, Workday, VNDLY)
    , and
    staffing program operations
  • Excellent
    communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    , with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, persistence, and results orientation.
  • Ability to thrive in a
    fast-paced, collaborative team environment
    .
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
