Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide expert psychological support and counseling to diverse populations, including children, adults, and families. Your work will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies to promote mental well-being and resilience. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, applied behavior analysis, and other evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions across outpatient, inpatient, or telehealth settings.
• Manage crisis situations effectively using crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies to ensure client safety.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, educators, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Stay current with clinical research developments and maintain proficiency in medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, ICD coding for diagnoses, and relevant legal requirements.

Skills

• Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling.
• Strong experience with children and adolescents, including working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or special education needs.
• Skilled in crisis intervention strategies for managing acute mental health episodes or behavioral crises effectively.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions seamlessly.
• Knowledge of medical records management and compliance with HIPAA privacy standards.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems accurately for billing and treatment planning purposes.
• Experience working in hospital or outpatient clinic environments with a focus on behavioral health or mental health counseling.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients from diverse backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Capable of handling complex cases involving chronic pain counseling, working with people with disabilities or geriatrics, and providing specialized support such as social work or patient case management.
