Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly washed and sanitized. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our food service environment, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting. Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
• Support the culinary team during busy service periods by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes.
• Ensure that all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
• Organize and store clean dishes in their designated areas promptly.
• Participate in inventory management by reporting any shortages of cleaning supplies or kitchen tools.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment focused on exceptional service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
• Experience in bussing, food preparation, catering, or banquet services is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
