What you'll do

• Direct daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food production
• Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
• Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and promote teamwork
• Oversee food safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
• Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
• Create schedule for kitchen staff
• Manage weekly food orders

Basic qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managing a kitchen or holding a similar position in the food industry.

Preferred qualifications

• Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts
• Familiarity with weekly food ordering and vendor relations
• Experience in breakfast and casual dining, or quick service restaurant environments
• Demonstrated ability in budgeting and financial oversight within a kitchen setting
