Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary focus will be supporting each child's developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive caregiving, and effective classroom management. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and loving care to infants, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met daily.
- Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including motor skills, language acquisition, and social interaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform ongoing care strategies.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's growth and address any concerns or special needs.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper sanitation practices and emergency procedures such as first aid when necessary.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care in accordance with best practices in special education.
- Manage classroom routines effectively, including feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions between activities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, early childhood education techniques, and caregiving best practices.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and emotional regulation among infants.
Skills
- Demonstrated experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments such as babysitting or nannying roles.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques tailored for early childhood settings.
- Ability to provide first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with early childhood education standards and caregiving best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists.
- Compassionate caregiving approach combined with patience and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Ability to adapt activities for toddlers and preschool-aged children as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $15.50 per hour
