North Elementary School in St. Peter, MN, is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Reading Intervention Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and literacy development. This position has the possibility of permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing structured literacy interventions and strategies to support student growth in reading comprehension, fluency, and phonics.
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and literacy specialists to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives and student needs.
• Monitoring student progress through ongoing assessment and data analysis to adjust instructional strategies effectively.
• Maintaining communication with parents/guardians and school staff regarding student performance and intervention progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license or substitute teaching permit issued by the State of Minnesota.
• Experience with literacy phonics programs such as UFLI, or similar.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a passion for supporting student success.

Pay Range: $ $41.73 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
