You Are:

The Sr. Automation Test Engineer will create and organise testing process based on project requirement and manage test activities within team.

The Opportunity:

  • Hybrid: In office/remote

  • Design comprehensive and scalable test strategies and plans aligned with project requirements and quality goals.

  • Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts across various platforms and environments.

  • Execute automated and manual tests to validate functionality, performance, and security of applications.

  • Analyze test results to identify patterns, root causes, and areas for improvement, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure seamless integration of testing into the development lifecycle.

  • Proactively identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard tools, driving timely resolution.

  • Continuously optimize test frameworks and processes to improve efficiency, coverage, and reliability.

  • Stay current with emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance team capabilities and product quality.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need:

  • Over 8 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, with strong expertise in both automation and manual testing across diverse projects and domains.

  • Proficient in C# programming, with extensive experience using Selenium for developing and maintaining robust automated test suites.

  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

  • Strong experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as SpecFlow, Cucumber, and similar tools to enhance collaboration and test clarity.

  • Advanced skills in API testing, including validation of RESTful services and integration points using tools like Postman or RestSharp.

  • Solid grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and software development best practices.

  • Adept at identifying test automation opportunities, improving test coverage, and contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: North Carolina

Compensation Range: $78,000-$117,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
