Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cook / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen management, food production, and team leadership. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence, creativity in menu planning, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Plan and develop innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation in line with fine dining expectations.
  • Coordinate catering services for special events, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor food production processes to maintain quality standards and consistency across all dishes.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in the culinary field with a focus on fine dining or restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in team management and supervising staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Proficient in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control strategies.
  • Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creativity in food preparation.
  • Experience in catering services and managing large-scale banquet operations is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and guests alike.
