About the Role
We're seeking an energetic Therapist (Licensed or Associate) who is passionate about helping others and excited to work in a dynamic, supportive clinical environment with kids in need.
You'll provide group, individual, and family therapy; collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team; and contribute to shaping an environment that blends clinical excellence with genuine compassion.
You will run both IOP and PHP groups in addition to providing some individual sessions, parent collateral, and assistance with intakes and discharges. Some outreach or marketing tasks as needed.
Schedule is 11 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday during the school year. Summer schedule will be 8:30 am to 5 pm, M-F.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches.
- Interact with parents of clients.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document client progress accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of clinicians and leadership to ensure integrated, client-centered care.
- Participate in case consultations and clinical meetings to share insights and support team learning.
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
- (For associates) Engage in regular clinical supervision toward licensure with guidance and mentorship from senior staff.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
- Active California license (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist) or registration as an Associate (AMFT, ASW, APCC).
- Love working with teens and adolescents
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including CBT and DBT.
- Compassionate, professional, and collaborative approach to client care and parent support.
Preferred:
- Experience in outpatient or intensive outpatient (IOP/PHP) behavioral health settings.
- Experience running IOP and PHP adolescent groups.
- Comfort using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
