Job Summary
Abundant Life therapeutic LLC ( ABL Therapy ) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist, either Licensed or Unlicensed, to join our mental health and behavioral health team. We are a upcoming Day Intensive Treatment Center in the Sacramento area. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and young adults to age 21 years old. This role involves conducting individual, group, and some family counseling sessions, facilitation of various meetings daily, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT , psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and conducting daily groups for individuals with severe mental illness. The Therapist will also engage in crisis intervention, case management, and clinical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives through patient-centered care in outpatient.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, social work, and crisis management.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health issues including PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with people with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques like motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Manage medical documentation accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring confidentiality of patient records expereince with Smart Care a plus.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Engage in research activities or data collection projects related to behavioral health or clinical outcomes when applicable.
• Participate in intake procedures for new patients and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain professional development through ongoing education on medical terminology, ICD coding updates, CPT coding, and emerging treatment modalities.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent) OR eligible for licensure with relevant experience. Or AMFT, APCC, ACSW with valid BBS number.
• Experience with psychotherapy techniques such as psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT ,group facilitation various groups offered.
• Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems and familiarity with clinical terminology and documentation.
• Prior experience working with children & family counseling, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or chronic pain management is advantageous.
• Skills in crisis intervention and crisis management are essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88, $100,000.00 per year
