Server/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Candidates should be familiar with POS systems such as Toast POS, possess strong time management skills, and have a solid background in food and beverage service within the food industry. A background in brewing, catering, or retail math is a plus. The position offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting that values professionalism and hospitality excellence.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests to ensure an enjoyable experience, providing attentive customer service
• Operate POS system for order processing and cash handling
• Manage bar inventory/server station inventory, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the area in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for billing
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during service to insure orders are correct and making it to the table in a timely manor
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following health regulations related to food handling and food safety standards
• Assist in setting up for special events such as music concerts or banquets when required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or the food industry
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Toast POS, or similar platforms
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions (retail math)
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
• Previous experience in hospitality, brewing, catering, or retail environments is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
