Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our menu specifications while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure all food handling and preparation complies with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality meal service.
• Adhere to all food safety protocols, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with dietary aide practices is a plus.
• Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on meal preparation techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills and communication abilities.
• Experience in catering or menu planning is advantageous but not required.
