We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the entire kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, ensuring smooth shift management and high performance.
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring proper food handling, preparation, and presentation standards are met at all times.
- Manage inventory control and food management systems to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure timely procurement of ingredients.
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and fine dining service with meticulous attention to detail for flawless execution.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen operations.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and culinary excellence.
Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with banquet or catering experience.
- Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and kitchen management with a strong emphasis on fine dining settings.
- Demonstrated success in supervising teams, managing inventory control, and overseeing food service operations from start to finish.
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and specialized dietary requirements is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, HACCP standards, and overall food handling best practices.
- Experience in menu planning, shift management, and restaurant or catering business operations is essential.
- Previous roles involving hospitality service management, including bartending or beverage service experience, will be considered an asset.
