Overview

The IT Change Management Specialist is responsible for driving and managing organizational change across IT projects and operational initiatives. This role plays a key part in supporting the organization's agility transformation and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle of change management using established methodologies, tools, and best practices while partnering closely with key business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Change Leadership

  • Lead and manage end-to-end organizational change management activities for IT initiatives.
  • Support the company's agility transformation by applying Agile and change management principles to guide teams through adoption.
  • Conduct comprehensive
    Stakeholder Analysis
    , ensuring alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate
    Leadership Alignment
    to ensure sponsors and executives are fully informed and supportive of change efforts.

Change Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute
    Communication and Engagement
    plans tailored to impacted groups.
  • Perform
    Change Impact Analysis
    to assess scope and magnitude of change across teams and departments.
  • Conduct
    Training Needs Analysis
    and oversee the development of training materials and delivery strategies.
  • Measure, track, and report on change readiness, adoption metrics, and overall change effectiveness.

Project & Risk Management

  • Manage multiple change initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution.
  • Identify risks associated with change adoption and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.

Basic Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus (e.g.,
    Certified Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner, PMI-ACP, PROSCI, Change Management, ADDIE/SAM, PMP
    ).

Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT change management.
  • At least 2–3 years focused on change initiatives within IT organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale IT change programs in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks such as
    Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean
    .
