Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager Assistant to join our construction management team. In this vital role, you will support project managers in coordinating all phases of construction projects, ensuring seamless communication, accurate documentation, and efficient scheduling. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help drive project success from inception through completion, contributing to high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
- Support the preparation and review of construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate timely delivery of materials and services.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and civil drawings to support site planning and execution activities.
- Track project progress, update schedules, and prepare reports on project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Help manage contracts, change orders, and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or familiarity with construction site operations, including blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and project scheduling techniques.
- Knowledge of contracts, construction management principles, and project coordination best practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and understand civil engineering concepts.
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in a related field is highly desirable.
