Line Cook/Prep Cook

We are looking for someone with a passion for food and strong time management abilities who can provide our clients with an exceptional dining experience. Our cafe is busy, and we need a competent and experienced line cook who can ensure that our meals are made precisely to guest orders while still following our standard recipes consistently. You need to be a team player who can effectively communicate with other kitchen staff to keep things running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Prepare and cook various dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste..
• Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu offerings when appropriate.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Experience:

• Cook: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)
