We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy warehouse in Boise, Idaho. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role requires speed, accuracy, and a commitment to quality. You will use RF scanners to locate inventory, pick items, and then carefully pack them into boxes, ensuring they are protected during transit. A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure correct items and quantities are picked and packed. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing logistics operation. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to follow strict safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required. The role involves a significant amount of movement and occasional Lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is beneficial. Become a key player in our efficient order fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to use RF scanners and basic warehouse technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and occasional Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Team-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
