We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our busy logistics hub in Kansas City, Missouri. This key role involves managing daily warehouse activities, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring the efficient flow of inventory. You will be responsible for coordinating receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and best practices in logistics. You will play a vital part in optimizing warehouse layout, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. Strict adherence to safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily activities of warehouse personnel.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
- Train and manage warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
- Utilize WMS to track inventory and manage orders.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety standards and use of PPE.
