Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Technician to join our innovative team in Seattle, Washington. This position is responsible for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and forklifts.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all safety systems and protocols are functioning correctly and compliant with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Operate and test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems.
  • Adhere to strict safety standards and use appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar role with a strong mechanical and electrical background.
  • Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, and diagnostic tools is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform lifting of equipment and parts up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse logistics and material handling equipment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory compliance in a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
