We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our busy warehouse team in Los Angeles, California! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include locating and retrieving specified items from warehouse storage using pick lists or scanning technology, ensuring the quality and quantity of items picked, and transporting them to the designated packing and shipping areas. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics and fulfillment operations. A commitment to safety and accuracy is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product selection against order details to guarantee accuracy.
- Transport picked items to packing stations or shipping docks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting, as needed.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a strong asset.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment and technology, such as RF scanners.
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy in a dynamic environment.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure order correctness.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
