We are actively seeking Distribution Center Associates for our key logistics hub in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be integral to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations, handling a wide range of tasks that support order fulfillment and inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory shipments.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate scanning equipment and other warehouse technology.
- Organize and restock inventory within the distribution center.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and guidelines, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform frequent Lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members to meet operational goals.
- Support various logistics functions as directed by supervisors.
- Prior experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting.
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all rules.
- Understanding of basic inventory management principles.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
