We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to provided pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities before packing.
- Use packing materials and techniques to ensure products are protected during transit.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order details.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
