Tasks include receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking orders, and preparing items for dispatch. Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively will be a key part of your role. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Pick materials for production or shipping orders.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery in compliance with safety standards.
- Wear required PPE consistently and correctly.
- Follow established logistics procedures for all material handling tasks.
- Assist in maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety and material handling best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
