Come work as a Picker/Packer in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility! This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently, playing a key part in our overall logistics process. You will be responsible for locating products within the warehouse, accurately picking them based on order details, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Exceptional attention to detail is crucial to minimize errors. We are committed to a Safe working environment and expect all employees to follow Safety guidelines diligently, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience with order picking systems and ability to handle moderate Lifting are beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Verify order details against packed items before sealing.
- Prepare packages for shipment, affixing labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Support the logistics team with other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
- Willingness to wear PPE as required.
