Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about accuracy? We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and ensuring that all inventory movements are accurately recorded in our system. You will work closely with warehouse operations to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages or overages. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a meticulous approach to tasks. While primarily an administrative role, some light lifting may be involved, up to 25 pounds. A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment is essential, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices is highly preferred. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to minimize obsolescence.
  • Track and report on inventory levels and accuracy metrics.
  • Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to inventory control processes.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
