We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of outgoing shipments. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for verifying order details, preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure a smooth flow of goods from our facility to our customers. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring all packages meet shipping carrier requirements and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Attention to detail is paramount in this role to prevent errors in order fulfillment and shipping. You'll play a vital part in our supply chain management, contributing directly to customer satisfaction through accurate and prompt deliveries. Regular training on new shipping procedures and technology will be provided to keep our team at the forefront of the logistics industry. You must be comfortable with physical tasks, including some Lifting of packages up to 30 lbs. Adherence to all Safety protocols and the proper use of PPE is mandatory.
