We are hiring a Material Handler for our busy warehouse located in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our facility. This position involves operating various types of material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to transport, store, and retrieve inventory. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, staging materials for shipping, and assisting with inventory control tasks. A commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to established protocols are paramount. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting , and possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics best practices. Teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and discrepancies.
- Ensure all materials are handled properly to prevent damage.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE .
- Participate in daily pre-shift safety meetings.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.
