Our Miami, Florida facility is looking for an efficient and organized Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will manage the preparation and dispatch of all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities include meticulously documenting shipments, packaging products appropriately for transit, and coordinating with various shipping carriers. Success in this position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational capabilities, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Familiarity with shipping software and logistics best practices is advantageous. You will collaborate with other members of the warehouse staff to maintain the high standards of our logistics operations. Employee Safety is paramount; therefore, adherence to all safety guidelines, including the consistent use of required PPE, is expected. This position involves some physical tasks, including moderate Lifting. We are seeking a reliable, proactive individual committed to ensuring that every shipment leaves our facility in perfect condition. - Generating and applying shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Securely packaging orders to prevent damage during transit.
- Liaising with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Monitoring shipment progress and providing status updates.
- Maintaining an orderly and efficient shipping department.
- Cross-referencing outgoing orders with manifest documentation.
- Following all company safety rules and procedures.
- Wearing and utilizing appropriate PPE for all assigned tasks.
