We are looking for an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our busy distribution center in Dallas, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work quickly, and a commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy. You will be a vital part of our logistics team, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order tickets.
- Use handheld scanners or other devices to track picked items.
- Pack picked items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage picked orders for shipment and verify order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
